What I Do on Self-Care Sunday

I love my self-care Sundays! Here’s a typical schedule for me:

Morning:

  • Wake up at usual time, or maybe half hour later. I personally am not a huge fan of sleeping late on Sunday because it tampers with my sleep schedule for the upcoming week.
  • Enjoy coffee in bed
  • Pull oracle cards for daily Instagram posts
  • Enjoy a big breakfast with my hubby – usually pancakes ☺

Afternoon:

  • Take a 2-mile walk, if it’s nice out. Otherwise, yoga inside.
  • A couple hours of blog writing or recording sleep meditations
  • 30-minute session in my infrared sauna

Evening:

  • Meal planning for the week ahead
  • PJs early and something uplifting on TV

Everyone’s self-care Sunday is going to look different, based on personal preferences and personality. I am an introvert and live in my head most of the time.

So, solitude and quiet activities make me feel the most peaceful and at-ease. I really feel like I need a day of quietude before I dive into a new work week. However, my self-care schedule might look completely awful to you! lol That’s okay. This is YOUR time to spend as you please.
