How To Use Scripting To Manifest Your Happy Future

Today we’re talking about the scripting manifestation technique! This is a creative and fun way to manifest. Let’s get started!

What Is Scripting Manifestation?

Scripting manifestation method is when you write about something that you want, as if you already have it. This is a powerful way to use your imagination to accomplish your goals!

The main aspect of scripting is to journal about a subject as if you are in the future, looking back on how your happy outcome unfolded.

Similar to visualization, where you imagine the future in your mind’s eye, scripting gets you to put your vision into writing. When you do this, your desires begin to feel more concrete and therefore more achievable.

As you may already know, law of attraction will bring you experiences to match your beliefs, so its super important that you believe your dreams can come true (and they can – I promise!).

How Does Law of Attraction Apply to Scripting?

If you’re brand new to the concept, you’ll want to read this: What Is Law of Attraction? Your Easy Beginner’s Guide.

But in a nutshell, law of attraction is a universal principle that is always at work, bringing you experiences to match your dominant thoughts, feelings, and beliefs.

So in order for law of attraction to work in your favor, you need to feel positive emotions when you think about your desires. Sometimes it’s difficult to keep the faith, and that’s why methods like this scripting manifestation technique can help.

How To Use Scripting With Law of Attraction

As you do your scripting, you will begin to conjure the emotions you associate with having whatever it is that you want. Those feelings are the key to making this manifesting technique work! This is because law of attraction must respond to your positive emotions with experiences to match.

For example, when you think about finding your soul mate or building a successful career, what’s your knee-jerk emotional response?

If it’s along the lines of doubt or impatience, it’s going to be very difficult for you to manifest your desire because you’re not a vibrational match to it yet. Usually this happens when you are focused on obstacles you think are holding you back from what you want.

But when you’re scripting, you are talking about your goals from an entirely different perspective, one that is in perfect vibrational alignment with your desire.

So when law of attraction gets ahold of these thoughts, feelings, and focused intention that you put into your scripts, you will start attracting your desires, bit by bit – it can be no other way.

Actually, that’s why scripting manifestation is also referred to as law of attraction scripting or journaling – the terms are interchangeable.

I’m so excited for you to give this manifestation method a try! Now let’s get into the details.

What Is A Scripting Journal

You really only need two things for law of attraction journaling: a scripting manifestation journal and your own imagination.

Okay, so what exactly is a scripting journal? It’s a notebook, diary, or planner dedicated to your scripting manifestation exercises. It can be a basic notebook that you’d use for school or work, or you can get a manifesting journal like this one below.

It really doesn’t matter what you use, as long as it has plenty of pages for you to do your law of attraction journaling.

Your scripting journal is a sacred self-care tool. After all, it holds your plans for the future.

For this reason, I don’t recommend sharing its contents with anyone, unless you know for certain the other person will support you fully.

Your desires are like little seedlings that need to be nourished and gently cared for, in order to bloom. So protect your manifesting journal and treat it with reverence.

What Is The Difference Between Journaling + Scripting?

The difference between journaling and scripting is your perspective. When you journal, you’re writing from the perspective of your current state. You may note experiences you had during your day, or list your goals for the future.

On the other hand, scripting is more like creative writing. Instead of writing from your current state, you write from your future state, as if you have already accomplished your goal.

Scripting manifestation is all about imagining how it will feel after your desires flow into your life.

Can I Journal On My Device Instead Of On Paper?

Yes, absolutely! If you are more comfortable typing up your manifestation script, or even using the voice feature on your phone, that’s perfectly fine.

The important thing is that you get these ideas into a document that you can physically see. Your scripting journal itself is an early manifestation of your desire! The act of writing your future is literally turning your thoughts to things, which is a powerful step on your manifesting journey.

How To Script Manifest

There are 3 basic steps for how to script manifest:

  • Choose your topic – pick something you’d like to manifest. This can be anything from a productive day at work, to a lover, or a new home.
  • Write about it as your future-self – take a few moments to imagine you are in the future and have attained your goals. Then write in detail about how you feel. I’m sharing journal prompts and examples below to help with this.
  • Review and update as needed – As your situation unfolds, you can repeat this process, fleshing out new details, or tweaking your outcome as your desires take shape.

How Do You Write A Scripting Manifestation?

If using your imagination comes naturally, then you probably don’t need much prompting here. All you need to do is tap into your favorite daydream and let the words flow onto the pages of your journal.

After all, this is an exercise in creativity and self expression, so you can’t get it wrong!

But here are some basic guidelines to keep in mind:

  • Write as if you already have what you want
  • Be specific about how you feel
  • Express your appreciation (gratitude is the magic ingredient for manifesting anything)
  • Feel free to include dates and other specifics – they’re fun to look back on when the time comes!

Scripting Manifestation Example for Money

Let’s say you’re focused on manifesting more money. Here is an example of what you might script in your manifesting journal.

“Dear Universe,

I am so grateful for the abundance I have manifested in my life. Everywhere I turn, I see evidence that my needs will always be met.

I remember when I first started noticing the signs that I was becoming a magnet for financial abundance. At first, it started small. Money began to turn up in unexpected places. Then, I decided to make a game out of paying my bills, and today I am completely debt free.

My relationship to money has changed dramatically. Now I feel worthy of receiving more and I’m even eager to check my bank account each week. I no longer feel any sense of lack, dread, or doubt when it comes to money.

Instead I feel incredibly powerful, capable, and self sufficient. I have so much more money flowing in than is flowing out. For this reason, I love being generous with myself and others. I now see money as a tool to carry out my life purpose and shine more light into the world.

I am highly aware and deeply appreciative of abundance in all its forms, from the people in my life, to my wardrobe of clothes, to the food in my fridge. My life is so rich with blessings and I am thrilled to be alive.

I fully embrace all the prosperity you have prepared for me, so please, continue to bring it on! I know this is just the beginning of what we will co-create together. Woohoo!

Thank you and keep it coming! XOXO”

Scripting Manifestation Journaling Prompts

Your scripting will take its own unique shape based on your specific situation, desires, and experiences. It doesn’t need to be a letter to the universe, like the money example above. It can simply be a series of statements, or take the form of a diary entry.

Here are some journaling prompts that you can use by filling in the blanks yourself.

  • I am so grateful for…
  • My life has changed in the following ways…
  • I have learned…
  • The things I’m most proud of are…
  • Today I feel…
  • I have released…
  • I’m happiest about…
  • My accomplishments make me feel…
  • I have new clarity about…
  • Looking back, I now see…
  • My new goals are…
  • I understand why…

How Many Times Do You Script?

Scripting manifestation is all about generating good feeling thoughts and emotions about something you want.

So you should pick up your manifesting journal whenever the mood strikes you – never force yourself to keep a strict schedule because this will suck the magic out of this technique.

I recommend scripting about each desire just once, to start. Then, as time goes by, go back and review your script on occasion (weekly, monthly, yearly, whatever feels right to you).

There’s no need to re-script unless your desires change, which is totally normal. As you move along your path, you will gain more clarity about exactly what you want. Sometimes, your goals will change significantly. So when this happens, write a fresh script that represents your upgraded vision.

What To Do After Scripting Manifestation

Okay, so you’ve written your script that represents the future you! Now what?

All you need to do now is sit back and allow the law of attraction to serve you. At this point, your job is to set intentions to choose the best possible thoughts and feelings available to you in each moment.

When you need a boost, come back to your manifestation journal and read your script. Those words from your heart are powerful and will raise your vibe.

Place your journal in a safe place. You can set a crystal on top to charge it with healing energy, or decorate it with inspiring pictures or your favorite affirmations. Your journal should look and feel magical to you!
