How To Write a Manifestation List in 3 Steps: Examples + Template

Manifestation lists are a fun and easy, yet powerful way to help you focus your dreams into reality. In this guide, I’ll show you how to create a manifestation list that works. Plus, I’ll provide my best tips for staying focused and motivated along the way. Grab a notebook and let’s begin!

What Is a Manifestation List?

A manifestation list is a list of your goals and desires that you want to manifest in your life, written in the present tense, as if they have already come true. You can think of your manifestation list as a collection of your favorite affirmations, which can span across all areas of your life, or focus on a singular goal.

Writing down your desires on paper is a powerful gesture to the universe that you’re ready to welcome positive change into your life.

Benefits of Manifestation Lists

Creating a manifestation list can help to usher upgrades into your life in a number of ways. Going through this process will help you to:

  • Clarify your goals and desires
  • Focus your energy and attention on what you want to achieve
  • Increase your motivation and confidence
  • Get energy moving around situations that have been stuck
  • Practice mindfulness and mental focus
  • Sharpen your visualization skills
  • Build positive momentum behind your desires
  • Attract positive energy and opportunities into your life
  • Boost your overall sense of well-being and purpose
  • Invite an element of magic and fun into your life
  • Open your mind to new perspectives and possibilities

Understanding Law of Attraction

Before creating your manifestation list, it’s important to understand the Law of Attraction. This law states that like attracts like, meaning that the energy you put out into the universe will attract similar energy back to you.

By focusing your thoughts and intentions on what you want to manifest, you can attract positive energy and opportunities into your life. Keep this in mind as you create your manifestation list, and remember to stay positive and focused on your goals.

The whole point of this exercise is to generate good feelings and thoughts about your desires. Once you achieve this (instead of feeling doubtful or frustrated), you become a powerful magnet for all sorts of beautiful experiences!

How To Make a Manifestation List

To create a manifestation list, start by setting aside some quiet time to reflect on your goals and desires. Grab a paper and pen (or you can do this on your device if you prefer).

Next, you’re going to write down everything you want to manifest in your life, from big dreams to small daily intentions. This is your time to be creative and uncensored! With that said, I do have some guidelines to keep in mind as you make your list:

1. Get Clear on Your Goals + Desires

The first step in creating a manifestation list that works is to get clear on your goals and desires. Take some time to reflect on what you truly want to manifest in your life. This could be anything from a new job to a loving relationship to improved health.

Then, write down your goals in detail, including specific details about what you want to achieve and why it’s important to you. The more specific and detailed you can be, the better. This will help you to focus your energy and intentions on what you truly want, and will make it easier to manifest your desires into reality.

Manifesting Tip: Don’t limit yourself! Nevermind how your dreams will come to fruition – that’s not your work. The universe will step to assist with the details.💛

2. Write Your List in Present Tense

When creating your manifestation list, it’s important to write your goals and desires in the present tense, as if they’ve already come true. This helps to create a sense of immediacy and makes it easier for your subconscious mind to believe that your desires are already a reality.

For example, instead of writing “I want to have a successful career,” write “I am successful in my career and love what I do.”

This simple shift in language can make a big difference in the effectiveness of your manifestation list.

3. Use Positive Language + Emotions

When creating your manifestation list, it’s important to use positive language and emotions. Instead of focusing on what you don’t want, focus on what you do want.

As Abraham Hicks would say, there are two ends of every stick: the having of something, and the lack of it.

For example, instead of writing “I don’t want to be in debt,” write “I am financially abundant and debt-free.”

Do you sense the emotional difference between these two statements? Always focus on what you want, not what you don’t.

Also, be sure to infuse your list with positive emotions such as gratitude, joy, and excitement. Visualize yourself already having achieved your desires and feel the emotions that come with it. This will help to attract those desires into your reality.
